Generalized LMI observer design for discrete-time nonlinear descriptor models

چکیده
The present paper provides a systematic way to generalize Takagi-Sugeno observer design for discrete-time nonlinear descriptor models. The approach is based on Finsler’s lemma, which decouples the observer gains from the Lyapunov function. The results are expressed as strict LMI constraints. To obtain more degrees of freedom without altering the number of LMI constraints and thus relax the conditions, delayed Lyapunov functions and delayed observer gains are considered. Even more relaxed results are developed by extending the approach to -sample variation. The effectiveness of the proposed methods is illustrated via examples.

Discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno descriptor models: observer design
The present paper deals with observer design for discrete-time nonlinear descriptor systems. Through Finsler’s Lemma, we cut the link between the observer gains and the Lyapunov function, which relaxes existing conditions and introduces an extra degree of freedom. In addition, the results are expressed as LMI constraints. The effectiveness of the two proposed approaches is illustrated via sever...
متن کاملMulti-objective H =H1 fault detection observer design for Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems with unmeasurable premise variables: descriptor approach
This paper investigates the problem of robust fault detection observer design for nonlinear Takagi–Sugeno models with unmeasurable premise variables subject to sensor faults and unknown bounded disturbance. The main idea is to synthesize a robust fault detection observer by means of a mixed H =H1 performance index. The considered observer is used to estimate jointly states and faults. Using the...
متن کاملDesign and Implementation of Discrete Time Observer Based Backstepping Controller for a 2DOF Servomechanism
The two degrees of freedom servomechanism has many applications, including in gimbaled seekers. These mechanisms require closed-loop control to perform properly. In this paper, an observer-based multi-input-multi-output hybrid controller is designed for a two-degree-of-freedom servomechanism. Since in the model presented in this paper, disturbances on the mechanism are considered, so an extende...
متن کاملH∞ control for discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno descriptor models: a delayed approach
This paper provides conditions for H∞ control of discrete-time nonlinear descriptor models. The nonlinear model is represented by a Takagi-Sugeno one. Conditions are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Relaxed conditions are obtained via delayed Lyapunov functions and delayed control laws. Such an approach allows adding extra decision variables without increasing the number of LMI con...
متن کاملRobust H_∞ Controller design based on Generalized Dynamic Observer for Uncertain Singular system with Disturbance
This paper presents a robust ∞_H controller design, based on a generalized dynamic observer for uncertain singular systems in the presence of disturbance. The controller guarantees that the closed loop system be admissible. The main advantage of this method is that the uncertainty can be found in the system, the input and the output matrices. Also the generalized dynamic observer is used to est...
